A lovely co-signed 1950s Vacheron & Constantin–LeCoultre mystery display dress watch, with all details pointing to this piece made for the American market. The mystery display features “floating” diamond-set indexes with the drive mechanism concealed beneath the dial, while the LeCoultre-signed dial has developed light patina.
The slim 14k white gold dress case is fitted with elegant scroll lugs, with the caseback stamped Vacheron & Constantin–LeCoultre Watches Inc., reflecting the shared American distribution structure of the period.
Powered by a LeCoultre caliber 480/CW manual wind movement and paired with a black leather strap. A very cool and uncommon piece, with minimalist high-jewelry styling entirely in keeping with mid-century design.
