A wonderfully charming vintage Vacheron Constantin with elegant teardrop lugs, its crown tucked neatly into the round case to allow the dial to take center stage within the versatile 33 mm size. Dating to the 1950s, the champagne dial has developed a warm patina and is accented by an outer date track in red, indicated by a red arrow-tipped hand, alongside matching red French day and month apertures. Applied gold dauphine hour markers with matching hands accompany Arabic numerals at 3, 9, and 12, while the moonphase aperture partially cuts into the hour track, integrating a small seconds display within.
Correctors discreetly integrated into the case flanks manually advance the day, date, and month functions independently. The watch is powered by the Jaeger caliber P494/1 manual wind movement and fitted with a brown nubuck leather strap. Showing honest wear and patina consistent with age, but a charming 1950s piece nonetheless.
