Named "Club" on the dial, this vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre dates to the 1970s, a period when many Swiss manufacturers introduced more accessible collections during the Quartz Crisis. Crafted in 18k yellow gold, the cushion-shaped case retains its brushed finish and clearly defined chamfers, a nice detail for a watch of this period, complemented by a signed Jaeger-LeCoultre crown.
The champagne dial continues the monochromatic aesthetic with applied baton hour markers, broader markers at the quarters with black inlays, matching hands, an applied JL logo, and sweeping central seconds. Powered by the manual-wind Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 1990/01, it is fitted with a black alligator strap and signed Jaeger-LeCoultre plated tang buckle.
Presented in beautiful condition, with the exception of a personal engraving to the case back, this is a charming and lesser-seen Jaeger-LeCoultre from an interesting period in the brand's history.
