A true showstopper, this rare vintage Piaget ref. 9687 from the 1970s is designed to draw the eye. The rectangular case is framed by a bezel where black Roman numerals are printed, set against hand-detailed gold engraving with a paisley-like motif—an intricate and highly unusual execution that turns the case itself into the time display.

Hidden lugs allow the watch to wear like a framed piece of art, placing full emphasis on the dial. The gold dial displays a vivid, coarse-like sunburst finish rarely seen, shifting dramatically with light and kept intentionally minimal, with only slim black hands.

Powered by the ultra-thin manual-wind caliber 9P, the watch maintains an elegant, slim profile. It is fitted with a Piaget black alligator strap and secured by a Piaget 18k gold tang buckle. Preserved in beautiful condition, this piece comes complete with its original Piaget leather pouch and is ready to be worn.
