A handsome Longines dress watch in solid 14k yellow gold, crafted circa 1945. The bold rectangular case features uninterrupted sculpted lugs that flow seamlessly from the case, giving the watch a robust architectural presence. The thick faceted crystal further accentuates the watch's angular profile, lending it a distinctly mid-century presence. The refinished silvered dial displays an attractive faceted geometric design, with applied gold hour markers, matching hands and a subsidiary seconds register replacing the 6 o'clock marker.

Powered by the Longines caliber 22L manual wind movement, it is fitted with a brown Crazy Horse leather strap that complements its mid-century character. A distinctive vintage Longines that wears with far more presence than its dimensions suggest.

8.5 mm thick case.

Minimal wear, dial has been refinished, small tarnish on case and markers.
