A charming vintage Vacheron Constantin dating to the 1940s, housed in an 18k yellow gold rectangular case with beautifully sculpted sides that lend the watch an elegant architectural profile. The original two-tone silvered dial has developed a gentle patina over the decades and features applied Roman numerals at the quarters, faceted baton hour markers, a chemin de fer minute track, and a recessed subsidiary seconds register at 6 o'clock. Slender pointed hands complete the elegant aesthetic. The crown may have been replaced during its lifetime, while the watch is powered by a manual wind movement. Fitted with a custom olive Badalassi Carlo Pueblo leather strap, this is a wonderfully understated dress watch from Vacheron Constantin's golden Art Deco era.
