Often exciting for us to find little treasures such as this vintage Rolex Precision reference 2648, preserved in beautiful condition. The petite tonneau-shaped 18k white gold case combines brushed and polished surfaces, while the oversized Rolex-signed crown feels surprisingly proportional to the design.

The real star is the dial. The blue sunburst surface features an unusual take on Roman numerals, elongated and stylized in a way rarely seen from Rolex. The stretched VI in particular gives the watch a charming personality, lending a playful touch to an otherwise elegant design. White printed text and matching white hands contrast elegantly against the dial, while an applied Rolex coronet sits at 12 o'clock.

Powered by a caliber 1400 manual-wind movement, the watch is fitted with a black leather strap and accompanied by a Rolex stainless steel tang buckle. Dainty, charming, and full of period character, this 1960s Rolex stands apart through its unusual dial design.
