An intriguing Jaeger-LeCoultre ladies’ watch from the 1930s, blending robust geometry with distinctly feminine cues. The 18k yellow gold case, neither quite rectangular nor tonneau, houses a beautiful original two-tone dial with a warm rose-gilt effect, accented by applied dagger markers and oversized black Arabic numerals for striking contrast.
The case features extended lug bars allowing the cord bracelet to thread through, secured by gold-plated fittings and a jewellery clasp stamped Unroc; a larger cord can be provided upon request. Powered by the Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 29 manual wind Duoplan movement, an inventive two-plane construction wound via the caseback. A charming little Art Deco piece for special occasions, catching the light beautifully.
