A striking Concord Delirium La Nuit, reference 60 N6 1460.1, crafted in 18k white gold and dating to the mid-2000s. The rectangular case has a surprisingly substantial presence on the wrist, with broad, beautifully faceted edges that alternate between polished surfaces and sharp angles, catching the light from nearly every direction. The same architectural treatment extends to the crown guard and original Concord 18k white gold tang buckle.
The rich black dial takes an unusual approach to displaying time. A large jumping-hour aperture sits at 12 o’clock within a brushed silver chapter ring, surrounding a finely machine-turned black center with the Delirium signature. Minutes are indicated by the single central hand, while below, the offset white subsidiary seconds dial partially overlaps the circular pointer-date display, creating a layered, almost collage-like arrangement that gives the dial much of its character. The date can be quickly adjusted through the recessed corrector on the side of the case.
Powered by a manually wound Concord movement, visible through the exhibition case back with blued screws and contrasting finishing. It is fitted with its original Concord black alligator strap and matching faceted 18k white gold Concord tang buckle.
Accompanied by its Concord wooden presentation box, outer box, operating manual and period warranty card, which is undated and unserialized. Monochromatic yet far from understated, the La Nuit combines an unconventional jumping-hour display with a substantial white-gold case that wears more robustly than its rectangular dress-watch profile might suggest.
