A handsome Audemars Piguet Jules Audemars Chronograph reference 25859BC.OO.D028CR.01 dating to the 1990s. The polished 18k white gold case features stepped pushers and a signed crown, framing a deep blue dial with a two-register chronograph layout. Applied faceted hour markers, Arabic numerals at 12, 2, 4, 6, 8 and 10, a white outer minute track and matching chronograph registers create a pleasing monochromatic look. The running seconds and 30-minute counter are positioned at 9 and 3 o'clock respectively, while the central chronograph seconds hand gives contrast to the dial. Powered by the automatic caliber 2226 movement, featuring a signed rotor with a 21-carat gold winding mass, the watch is fitted with a blue alligator strap and Audemars Piguet signed platinum tang buckle. An elegant chronograph with a distinctly understated presence on the wrist.
