A wickedly cool Jaeger-LeCoultre from the 1980s that appears minimal at first glance, but reveals considerably more detail on closer inspection. The ultra-thin 18k yellow gold case has an unusual sculpted form, with gently concave sides flowing into long, tapered lugs. A fine black enamel accent circles the bezel, giving the warm gold case a sharp line of contrast.
The beautifully textured champagne dial with a soft, frosted appearance follows the same minimalist approach, interrupted only by a singular elongated black Roman numeral at 12 o’clock. Slim pointed gold hands appear almost suspended over the dial, meeting at a clean circular center without the usual visible central hardware. It is an exceptionally simple layout, but far from ordinary.
Powered by the Jaeger-LeCoultre caliber 895 manual-wind movement and finished with a JLC-signed crown. Fitted with a black JLC crocodile strap and JLC gold-plated buckle. A neo-vintage JLC with considerably more going on than first meets the eye.
