A striking vintage Vacheron Constantin from the 1970s, reference 33037P, crafted entirely in 18k yellow gold. The design is all about texture, with an incredibly fluid integrated woven bracelet flowing directly into the rectangular case with softly curved sides. The sides of the case and bezel repeat the same pattern found throughout the bracelet, making the entire watch feel like one continuous piece of gold work.
The matte black dial provides a strong contrast, set with twelve diamond hour markers that have a charming handmade quality to their positioning, with several sitting at slight angles. The dial is kept otherwise minimal with gold Vacheron Constantin Genève printing, an applied Maltese cross and gold dauphine hands.
The detailing continues through to the Maltese cross-signed crown and concealed clasp, also adorned with the Vacheron emblem. Powered by Vacheron Constantin caliber 1003/1, an ultra-thin manual-wind movement bearing the Geneva Seal.
A wonderfully distinctive 1970s Vacheron, with its woven design flowing seamlessly from case to bracelet.
4.5 mm thick.
Light wear shown: The crystal shows two small nicks and a scratch.
