A vintage Omega Constellation reference 2582/2853 SC, dating to 1956 and powered by the celebrated caliber 505 automatic chronometer movement. Crafted in 18k yellow gold, the case is distinguished by beautifully sculpted, elongated lugs that lend the watch an elegant profile. The champagne pie-pan dial catches the light beautifully, featuring sharply faceted applied hour markers, dauphine hands, central seconds, and the signature applied Constellation star above 6 o'clock. The original Omega-signed crown remains fitted, while the case has developed a light warmth to its finish over the decades. Presented on a cognac brown leather strap, it is a wonderfully classic Constellation that showcases the design language which made the collection an icon of 1950s watchmaking.
