A most unusual Rolex Cellini ref. 2505 from the 1990s, this reference departs from the dress watch aesthetic typically associated with the Cellini line. Crafted in 18k yellow gold, the petite round case is framed by a diamond-set bezel, interrupted by sculptural lugs that seamlessly transition into an integrated bracelet reminiscent of Italian gold jewellery from the era. The champagne sunburst dial is kept wonderfully minimal, adorned with quarter diamond hour markers and the applied Rolex coronet, while the unsigned crown is neatly tucked into the case. Powered by the manual wind caliber 1400, the integrated Rolex-signed 18k yellow gold bracelet fastens with a concealed box clasp secured by twin folding safety catches, allowing it to wear as elegantly as a fine piece of jewellery. A distinctive and seldom-seen Cellini that beautifully blurs the line between watchmaking and jewellery.
