A Rolex Cellini Danaos reference 6229, dating to circa 1999. Crafted in 18k yellow gold, the softly rounded cushion-shaped case frames one of the collection's most distinctive dials. A glossy black outer ring with white outlined Arabic numerals is punctuated by an applied gold 6 o'clock marker, surrounding a dark grey centre finished with fine concentric lines. Gold tapered hands, the applied Rolex coronet at 12, and gilt Rolex and Cellini signatures complete the design.
Powered by a quartz movement for carefree ownership, the watch is fitted with a custom-made black leather strap and secured by its original Rolex 18k yellow gold tang buckle. An understated Cellini with an unusually playful dial, equally at home dressed up or worn every day.
