An elegant Piaget from the 1970s, this watch highlights the kind of thoughtful design the brand is best known for and appears to retain its original finish. The delicate oval case is paired with slim, gently curved lugs that frame a striking tiger’s eye dial, whose natural striations run lengthwise, mirroring the length the case and illuminating beautifully as the light hits it just right. The dial is kept intentionally minimal, signed simply with gold-printed Piaget text and finished with gold dauphine hands.
Its exceptionally thin profile is made possible by Piaget’s caliber 9P manual-wind movement, a hallmark of the brand’s ultra-thin watchmaking during the era. The watch is fitted with a vintage Piaget dark brown crocodile strap that beautifully complements the tones of the dial and is secured by a Piaget 18k gold tang buckle with a raised “P.”
One of several nuanced dress-watch variations Piaget produced during this period, the design remains timeless and elegant — understated and graceful.
