An unmistakable vintage Chopard of neo design, with its certificate of guarantee dated 1981 and accompanied by a Chopard appraisal letter from 1993, along with its original tag.
The semi-skeletonized movement is framed by a champagne chapter ring, with quarter black Roman numerals and slim black hands keeping the display clean and legible. The hand-finished bridges of the manual-wind Piguet caliber 99 (as noted in the appraisal) can be admired through the caseback, equally well-executed on both sides.
The 18k yellow gold case features a hammered-like finish throughout, with strong hallmarks still present, and an L.U.C–embossed crown.
Fitted with a vintage Chopard brown crocodile strap—showing signs of being stored most of its life—and a gold-plated buckle with a distinctive “C” motif.
Two-tone coloured skeleton watches are seldom seen, making this vintage Chopard a compelling and collectible piece.
