A vintage piece from the Italian brand Vetta — a subsidiary of Wyler — this 1950s example is a rarer find from the brand. Though marketed in Italy, the watch itself was Swiss-made, as indicated by the Fab. Suisse stamp on the inner caseback. Crafted in 18k rose gold, the case features robust curved lugs and a gently domed crown neatly tucked within its double-stepped profile. The silvered two-tone dial displays raised dauphine hour markers accented with Arabic numerals at 12, 3, 6, and 9 o’clock, along with a 36-hour power reserve indicator positioned beneath the 12. Rose gold dauphine hands, an arrow-tipped sweeping seconds hand, and an outer minute track complete the elegant layout. Powered by the automatic Vetta caliber 82 and fitted with a black leather strap, this well-preserved vintage example wears handsomely on the wrist.
