A very rare and early example of a Vacheron Constantin rectangular wristwatch from the early 1930s, this piece carries strong Art Deco elements. The 18k two-tone case is gently curved for comfort, complemented by a creamy dial with raised silvered Arabic numerals and cathedral hands — refinished long ago. The crown integrates neatly into the case, though it may have been replaced. Its hinged case back is engraved as a presentation award, adding to its period character. Powered by a manual wind movement and fitted with a brown crocodile strap, this watch stands as a scarce and elegant example of Vacheron’s early shaped designs, appealing to the collector who values both rarity and design heritage.
Dial has been refinished long ago, possibly refinished crown.
