Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Squelette Ref. 43502 | 18K Yellow Gold | Circa 1990s
An exceptional example of high caliber and labour intensive effort demonstrated in an open-worked piece, this rare pre-owned Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Squelette Ref. 43502 from the 1990s is crafted in 18k yellow gold. Its 16-sided case measures 34mm in diameter, adorned with a factory-set diamond bezel totaling approximately 1 carat. A beautiful skeletonized automatic movement is visible through both the dial and the sapphire exhibition case back, the bridges and 21k gold rotor are exquisitely hand-finished, showcasing Vacheron Constantin's masterful craftsmanship. The rotor proudly bears the Maltese Cross emblem, the brand’s iconic symbol of its quest for precision. Finished with a blue cabochon-set crown and simple black anodized hands maintains the watch's open-worked aesthetic. It comes fitted with its original Vacheron Constantin 18k yellow gold tang buckle. The architectural openwork and meticulous finishing throughout this timepiece speak to the artisanal accomplishment and design philosophy of Vacheron Constantin, and wears quite handsomely on the wrist.
