A rare vintage Vacheron Constantin watch in 18k yellow gold, crafted during the 1950s. Affectionately regarded as the “cioccolatone” meaning chocolaty in Italian in reference to the robust square case with stepped design resembling a chocolate square, retaining its original finish and crisp hallmarks, and houses an automatic winding. Features a silvered dial with faceted raised gold hour indices and gold sword shaped hands. Fitted with its original fitted glass crystal, Vacheron brown crocodile strap and pin buckle stamped “A.W. 18k”. This sumptuous Vacheron vintage piece creates a strong presence on the wrist, a treat for a vintage collection.
