A refined golden Vacheron Constantin chronograph from the 1990s, this reference 47001 reflects a more modern execution while retaining classic design cues. Crafted in 18k yellow gold, the case features softly rounded edges and pump pushers, giving it a balanced, dress-forward profile.
The dial is particularly well executed, with a finely textured guilloché pattern across the surface, contrasted by three recessed subdials for a clear and legible layout. Applied baton markers and slender hands keep the design restrained, while blued chronograph hands add measured contrast. The signature Maltese cross at 3 o’clock sits subtly above the printed logo, visually balancing the registers.
Powered by the automatic caliber 1126, the crown is signed with the Maltese cross. The watch is fitted with a custom brown leather strap that complements the warmth of the case, and is secured by a Vacheron Constantin tang buckle.
A well-composed chronograph with a clean, balanced presentation.
A minor detail for transparency—when the chronograph is engaged, the central seconds hand may initially jump forward slightly and pause briefly before proceeding normally. All functions operate as intended. Please refer to our video demonstration for clarity.
