A vintage Universal Geneve Compur watch reference 22409 in enversteel, crafted during the 1940s. The 38 mm case was created by Spillman, retains some of its original finish housing angular thick lugs, pronounced pushers and a manual movement. The silvered dial contains luminous Arabic hour indices that have patina’d, steeled-blue outlined sword-shaped hands with lume (the smaller hand has partial lume loss), subsidiary seconds and 45 minute registers, and tachymeter scale. Fitted with a new premium taupe leather strap, serving well in all casual occasions.
Watch keeps time and functions. Its service history is unknown.
Normal wear due to age and use. Small nicks present.
11.5 mm thick case.
