A vintage Universal Geneve Compax chronograph watch in steel, crafted during the 1950s. The 33 mm round waterproof case houses curved lugs and pronounced pushers, and a hand wound movement with dust cover. Houses a silvered dial that has patina’d, patina’d luminous Arabic hour markers and blued-steel outlined sword-shaped hands with lume (smaller hand is missing some lume), subsidiary seconds, 30 minute and 12 hour registers. Fitted with a new black lizard strap, this piece lends to a sporty look on the wrist. It runs and functions on our desk, its service history is unknown and we recommend a service.
Normal wear due to age and use.
