A vintage Rolex GMT-Master reference 16753 from the 1980s, produced just prior to the introduction of the GMT-Master II. The 40 mm case is fitted with a bidirectional 24-hour bezel carrying the black and yellow graduated insert, and houses a later “Swiss-T<25” black dial with luminous hour indices, a date aperture that has developed a pleasing patina, and later replacement Mercedes hands. The watch retains its original gold Rolex crown.
The watch is fitted with its original Rolex two-tone Oyster bracelet, adjustable and secured by a steel deployant clasp embossed with the Rolex coronet. Powered by the caliber 3075 quickset automatic movement, this iconic GMT-Master wears exceptionally well, delivering a timeless sports aesthetic with enduring appeal.
Light wear shown consistent for age: Light scratches throughout.
