A preowned Rolex Explorer I reference 214270 in stainless steel, and accompanied by its warranty card dated 2011, and serialized hang tag. This early example features the sought-after Mark 1 dial, distinguished by its non-luminous applied 3, 6 and 9 numerals—a design detail unique to the first generation of the 39 mm Explorer. The glossy black dial is configured with luminous baton and triangle hour markers, applied white gold Arabic numerals, Mercedes hands and an outer minute track. Powered by an automatic movement and fitted with a stainless steel Oyster bracelet secured by an Oysterlock clasp, the Explorer remains one of Rolex's most handsome all-steel companion that feels equally at home on the trail, in the office, or anywhere in between.
