The Rolex Presidential watch introduced in 1956, a well-known model associated with the brand’s list of icons worn by icons alike, and recognizable by its fluted bezel and signature President bracelet. This Day Date reference 18238 has all its Rolex signed accoutrements: box, blank notepad, papers, handkerchief and cleaning cloth, tags, and original inner and outer boxes - papers indicate this piece was sold in Karachi, Pakistan in 1996. Configured with a champagne dial with diamond hour markers, and gold baton hands, day and date windows operated by a double quickset automatic movement. The case back contains the original green sticker, some collectors prefer to retain this detail adding to its collectibility. A great find of a watch in good condition complete with its set, perfect for a vintage Rolex enthusiast or as a birth year gift.
Gentle wear consistent with age, light scratches and bracelet retains good structure (80-85%).
