The Rolex Thunderbird, nicknamed after the US Air Force flight demonstration team popularized by collectors so much so Rolex later adopted the name into their advertisement of all their Turn-O-Graphs. The engraving of the bidirectional bezel on this Turn-O-Graph reference 1625 is beautifully preserved, retaining sharpness. The champagne dial contains an ever slight patina around the crown logo, and features gold raised baton markers accented with a black centre, and gold hands with lume. All lume plots remain full and plump. The Rolex two-tone Oyster bracelet is clasped with Rolex logo buckle and is powered by an automatic movement. In wonderful condition, the 36 mm size is a nice middle ground for many wrist sizes.
