A lovely vintage Rolex Datejust reference 1601 dating circa 1968, crafted in stainless steel and 9k rose gold for the British market. The 36mm Oyster case is paired with a fluted rose gold bezel and matching two-tone Rolex Jubilee bracelet.
The silvered dial has a great vintage look, simply configured with applied baton hour markers and matching hands, luminous hour plots, and a date aperture at 3 o’clock beneath the Cyclops magnifier.
Fitted with its period Rolex folded-link Jubilee bracelet stamped 6251H-9. The bracelet has a naturally light and flexible construction and shows looseness consistent with the construction of these early folded-link Jubilees and its age. Powered by a Rolex automatic movement. The silvered dial and warm 9k rose gold give this early Datejust a distinctive look, especially paired with its period folded-link Jubilee bracelet.
12 mm thick case.
Overall in nice vintage condition with normal wear throughout consistent with age and use.
