Rather than following the traditional tool-watch path that defined much of Rolex history, the Cellini line focused on elegance, precious materials, and classic dress-watch design. It became the collection where Rolex experimented with more formal proportions and refined aesthetics — always executed in precious metals — as seen in this reference 5241.
Robust in design with substantial lugs, the watch features an “ice-blue” dial that pairs beautifully with the platinum case. Applied silver markers sit within a concentric chapter ring, surrounding a pale-blue center with a subsidiary continuous-seconds display echoing the same textured pattern. The watch is powered by the caliber 1240 manual-wind movement. It is fitted with a Rolex black alligator strap and finished with a Rolex-signed platinum tang buckle.
