A lovely, well-preserved vintage Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref. 1507 in 18k yellow gold, dating from the late 1960s to circa 1970. The 35mm case appears to retain its original finish and is fitted with an exquisite bark-textured bezel, with a Rolex-signed crown completing the exterior.
The rich black dial is accented by applied gold dauphine markers and baton hands with center lume, complemented by mostly plump lume plots, with a few showing minor loss. A gold central seconds hand and date window complete the layout.
Powered by the automatic caliber 1570, the watch is fitted with a brown leather strap and secured by a Rolex plaque buckle. Accompanied by its original papers, this example was sold in Hong Kong in February 1970 and comes complete with its box, hangtag, chronometer papers, and punched booklet.
