First released in 1945, the Rolex “Datejust” was the first pressure proof timepiece that offered a self-winding calendar chronometer option that changed the date in the dial window. The Datejust was also the first Rolex watch that utilized the “cyclops window” to magnify the date, making it easier to see. In the 70’s there were many changes to be implemented to the Datejust, like a new movement, dial and case design along with changing to real sapphire crystal versus acrylic plastic crystal of the past.

This ROLEX 16014 1987 Datejust is a true classic among Rolex timepieces and its a must have for either executive or sporty looks! This Rolex features it's original linen dial, hands and crown. It also features a white gold bezel and a new crystal has been installed. The 20 mm jubilee bracelet is also original. The Bracelet measures 7 1/2 inches approximate.
