First released in 1945, the Rolex “Datejust” was the first pressure proof timepiece that offered a self-winding calendar chronometer option that changed the date in the dial window. The Datejust was also the first Rolex watch that utilized the “cyclops window” to magnify the date, making it easier to see. In the 70’s there were many changes to be implemented to the Datejust, like a new movement, dial and case design along with changing to real sapphire crystal versus acrylic plastic crystal of the past.

Our Rolex 1601 Datejust dates 1961 and features it's original small print dial with pointed hands and crown. This Rolex will come with a 20mm leather strap which will provide for a very sporty and casual look!

This Rolex 1601 Datejust has recently been timed and oiled it keeps time.

Watches are shipped domestically via insured FedEx Overnight, DHL or UPS with signature required. Tracking will be provided.

International shipping will take longer to arrive due to the nature of customs and distance. Straps fabricated from exotic material banned from import will be removed prior to shipping, according to C.I.T.E.S. regulations. Import duties and tax associated with customs is not part of the shipping fee and is the sole responsibilitiy of the buyer.
