A vintage Piaget reference 9212 in 18k white gold, crafted during the 1960s–70s, with an unusual étrier-style design carried through both the case and bracelet. The oval case frames a vivid lapis lazuli dial set with diamond hour markers and white gold dauphine hands.
What really makes the watch is the strap construction. The original Piaget black crocodile is broken into sections by sculptural white gold half-oval hoops, almost like a series of stirrups, repeating the shape of the case and giving the watch an integrated jewellery-like look. It fastens with its matching Piaget 18k white gold tang buckle.
Powered by a Piaget manual-wind movement. The combination of deep blue lapis, diamonds, black crocodile and the repeating white gold stirrup motif makes this a particularly unusual Piaget.
