The sweetest little Patek Philippe Calatrava 1289 in 18k yellow gold, with movement numbers dating this manual-wind piece to circa 1950–55. It is accompanied by a Patek Philippe–signed women’s coffin box—an incredibly rare find.
The dial features raised enamel, with black hour markers accented by applied gold markers at 3, 6, and 9 o’clock. Raised gold dots flank each marker, adding a touch of character to an otherwise minimal, classic layout, complemented by slim gold hands.
The crown is oversized and may have been replaced at some point in its life. The caliber 8-85 movement bears the Seal of Geneva, with hallmarks present on the case.
Fitted with a brown lizard strap and a generic buckle, this is a remarkably well-preserved piece nearing 70 years old—an exceptional find for the discerning collector.
