An unusual Patek Philippe, the reference 3579/1 adopts a striking silhouette of the stainless steel - a rarity for the brand to produce during its the early 1970s making it especially collectible today. The cushion case - a departure from the more traditional silhouettes - holds a mix of polished and satin finishes, and features the gorgeous sunburst night blue dial the brand is known for. The dial is beautifully accented by applied white gold markers, faceted to catch light from every angle with fine grooved lines, and paired with white gold hands. The crown is signed with Patek emblem, while the case bears 2 seals of Geneva. Powered by a Patek signed manual wind movement. Fitted with a brown leather strap with white contrast stitching complementing the dial. Accompanied by a Patek-signed coffin leather box, a vintage enthusiast would be thrilled with this beauty of a watch.
