A spectacularly preserved Patek Philippe from the mid-1940s, retailed by Lortscher of Belgium, this rare reference 1592 is among the few known examples of its kind. The 18k rose gold case features distinctive rectangular stepped lugs, housing a beautiful rose-toned enamel dial that reveals a subtle two-tone effect under certain light. The original printing remains crisp, and the dial is double signed Lortscher above the subsidiary seconds register. Adorned with applied rose gold hour markers and slim hands. The sharply defined hallmarks further attest to its exceptional preservation. Powered by the manual-wind caliber 9/90, it is fitted with a Patek Philippe black crocodile strap and a period-correct 18k rose gold Patek buckle. Compact yet visually commanding on the wrist, this is an outstanding collector-grade example—an archive extract has been requested for this remarkable find.
