A vintage Patek Philippe platinum women’s watch crafted by Oscar Heyman Brothers circa 1945-49. The highly prestigious American Jeweler founded in 1912 is still known for using rare and brilliant gemstones both unheated and untreated, skilled in working with platinum creating heirloom-quality jewelry. Producing jewelry for luxury houses such as Cartier, Van Cleef and Arpels, and Tiffany, it is unsurprising Oscar Heyman is known as “The Jeweler’s Jeweler”. This Patek Philippe is an example of their mastery, bearing a total weight of 5.75 carat of diamonds with 6 Ceylon sapphires weighing 10 carats. The silvered dial supplied by Patek Philippe has been refinished long ago minimally topped with white gold raised hour indices and hands. Quality was not spared, even down to the integration of the highest grade manual movement Patek Philippe is known for. This exceptional one-of-a-kind vintage timepiece wears as jewelry, uncommon to find on the market.
