Offered here is an attractive variation of the Patek Philippe Calatrava reference 5026, with a date of manufacture in 1997. While we currently hold a copy of an older Extract from the Archives, a new extract has been ordered and will be provided once available. According to the existing archive copy, the watch is fitted with a semi-gloss black dial, elegantly appointed with yellow gold Breguet hands and hours, and delicately dotted gold accents. A subsidiary seconds dial is charmingly off-center, subtly intersecting the applied beads as well as the 4 and 5 numerals.
The crown is signed with the Patek Philippe Calatrava cross. Powering the watch is the caliber 240 PS automatic movement, visible through the sapphire case back and featuring a 22k gold micro-rotor stamped with Patek’s emblem. Fitted with a black Patek alligator strap and secured by an 18k Patek tang buckle, this neo-vintage Calatrava offers understated elegance and exceptional presence beneath the cuff.
