A vintage chronograph from Omega, this reference 2782 dates to 1956 and is housed in a warm 18k pink gold case. The beautifully curved lugs add a soft elegance to its profile, offering a beautiful balance between sporty function and dress watch sophistication. The silvered dial exudes vintage charm, featuring rose gold dauphine hour markers and matching hands, an outer tachymeter scale, and two well-proportioned subsidiary dials. The layout is clean and thoughtfully designed, with just the right amount of contrast to catch the eye without overwhelming it. Of note, the bottom chronograph pusher has been replaced by us with the closest available match—a challenge with pieces of this vintage. We feel it adds a layer of character to the piece. The watch is powered by Omega’s manual-winding caliber 320, and is paired with a brown leather strap that complements the pink gold case beautifully. A handsome vintage chronograph that blends sophistication with utility, offering both collectors and enthusiasts a wonderful example of 1950s Omega craftsmanship.
