A neat and quirky vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre Memovox from the 1970s, modeled after the silhouette of a television screen—fitting for a watch whose name means “voice of memory.” Its cushion-shaped case houses two later-replacement crowns that sit at a slight tilt, allowing independent control of the alarm and time-setting functions.
The silvered dial features applied horizontal silvered hour markers, accented by an inner blue chapter ring with white hash marks and luminous five-minute increments. Silvered baton hands pair with a blue seconds hand, while a black indicator line marks the alarm setting. A date aperture at three o’clock and an applied JL logo complete the layout.
Powered by the caliber 916 automatic movement, the watch is fitted with a grey leather strap. A mid-century design with playful character, it carries a nostalgic nod to retro television styling.
Wear consistent with age: replaced crowns, scratches shown on case and crystal, lightly spotted dial.
