Vintage 1970s Cartier Tank – Plaqué Case, Manual Wind
An attractive example of Cartier’s lasting design, this vintage 1970s Cartier Tank is crafted in gold plaqué. The case has aged gracefully, with a warm patina. The white dial displays black Roman numerals, an inner minute track, and blued sword-shaped hands. A slender blue cabochon, more elongated than modern iterations, lends a refined and distinguished touch in our opinion. The case is signed Cartier, secured by four screws, and is powered by a manual-wind Cartier-signed ETA movement, staying true to the hand-wound tradition of classic dress watches. It comes fitted with a black lizard strap and the original gold-plated Cartier buckle, offering an elevated look. A vintage timepiece that not only reflects Cartier’s design heritage but is ready to be worn and appreciated for decades to come.
