A classic Cartier Tank Louis reference 78086 from circa the 1980s, crafted in 18k yellow gold with the familiar elongated brancards and blue cabochon crown.
The white Paris-signed dial has developed considerable patina over time, with spidering and cracking throughout, and some loss to the dial surface at the corner. Black Roman numerals, railroad minute track and blued-steel sword hands complete the traditional Cartier configuration.
Powered by a manual-wind movement. Fitted with a custom burgundy Pueblo leather strap by Badalassi Carlo and fastened by a Cartier gold-plated buckle.
The case shows normal wear from age and use. The aged dial gives this Tank a distinctly vintage character, particularly against the warm yellow gold case and burgundy strap.
