The Tank Americaine from Cartier is a modern interpretation of the Tank Cintrée of the 1920s. The petite albeit chunky rectangular case makes for an easy accessory to wear on the daily and is a model Cartier currently produces. This 1713 example is in 18k white gold and features Cartier’s signature grained white dial, the center has developed a tiny blemish. Black Roman hours, inner minute track and blued hands provide legibility while maintaining the classic look, and for a fun pop of colour - we paired it with a Cartier green leather strap. The watch is secured by an adjustable Cartier 18k white gold deployant clasp for easy fastening.
