A vintage Cartier Vendome watch in 18k yellow gold, crafted during the 1970s. The 33 mm polished rounded stepped case, the outer bezel is cut out to accommodate the Cartier burgundy crocodile strap, and houses an automatic movement and blue cabochon beaded crown. Features a patina’d white dial, black Roman hour indices and minute track, and blued-steel sword-shaped hands. The Vendome may not be a current trending model, but this particular one contains character from the lovely lightly speckled patina.
9 mm thick case.
Cartier cal. 170, 17 jewels automatic movement.
Serial# x700301x (some of the numbers are difficult to discern from previous polish).
Glass crystal.
Cartier burgundy crocodile strap, 95% condition.
Plated tang buckle, non-Cartier.
16 mm lug width.
