Its octagonal case is framed by a bezel set with brilliant diamonds, punctuated by square rubies for a striking contrast. The unusual diamond-set lugs transition into Cartier’s supple 18k yellow gold “grains of rice” bracelet, secured with a concealed deployant clasp for an elegant fit.
The white dial has aged with a soft patina, displaying Cartier’s signature black Roman numerals with the secret signature at 10 o’clock, and finished with blued-steel hands. A diamond-set crown ties the jewel-like design together. The inner case back bears the C.HO stamp, likely denoting its case maker, while the watch is powered by the manual-wind caliber 852.
