This modern Cartier Panthère Ruban carries more presence than the classic Panthère, with a dressier lean despite its stainless steel construction. The blue mother-of-pearl dial is particularly captivating, with little cloud-like appearances that gives it depth and movement, shifting from dark grey to a bright, airy blue, set against the crisp white printed Cartier signature.
The signature supple bracelet is more substantial here, with the small square case seamlessly integrated within the flowing links. Viewed from the front, side, and back, the construction appears nearly continuous, extending the bracelet’s form into the case, while the butterfly clasp echoes the Panthère design.
Time is adjusted via a discreet push-button on the caseback—an unconventional system—paired with a quartz movement for minimal upkeep. From day to evening, this distinctive take on the Panthère carries a more pronounced wrist presence.
