The Cartier Cougar tends to fly under the Panthère’s radar, with the latter often taking precedence. Still, the rounder Cougar shares many of the design cues that made the Panthère so popular.
An eight-pin decorated bezel, blue cabochon crown, and narrowed, extended pointed lugs give the watch its distinctive character. The soft white grained dial carries Cartier’s signature look: black Roman numerals, an outer minute track, and blued-steel hands, here joined by a sweeping seconds hand and a date window positioned at 3 o’clock.
Powered by a quartz movement, making it an easy watch to live with, and it’s paired with a black lizard strap and a Cartier gold-plated tang buckle.
