A fine and elegant Baume & Mercier vintage wristwatch, crafted in 18k yellow gold and dated 10 May 1971, accompanied by original papers from esteemed Spanish jeweller Joyería Unión Suiza, and an associated Baume & Mercier box. The watch features an elongated, oversized rectangular case, echoing the bold designs of the early 1970s and reminiscent of well-loved models from Cartier, Chopard, and Bueche Girod. A refined twisted rope-textured bezel adds a unique decorative flourish, while the notched blue cabochon crown provides a signature touch. The white dial is classic and clean, with black Roman numeral hour markers, a railroad-style inner minute track, and elegant black leaf-shaped hands. The subtly curved case back enhances wrist comfort, and is fitted with a glossy black crocodile strap and the Baume & Mercier signed gold-plated buckle. A beautifully preserved example of early 1970s Swiss design, this piece is both a stylish daily wearer and a significant addition to any vintage collection.
