A fine and elegant Baume & Mercier vintage wristwatch, crafted in 18k yellow gold and dated 10 May 1971, accompanied by original papers from esteemed Spanish jeweller Joyería Unión Suiza. The watch features an elongated, oversized rectangular case, echoing the bold designs of the early 1970s and reminiscent of well-loved models from Cartier, Chopard, and Bueche Girod. A refined twisted rope-textured bezel adds a unique decorative flourish, while the notched blue cabochon crown provides a signature touch. The white dial is classic and clean, with black Roman numeral hour markers, a railroad-style inner minute track, and elegant black leaf-shaped hands. The subtly curved case back enhances wrist comfort, and is fitted with a glossy black crocodile strap and the Baume & Mercier signed gold-plated buckle. A beautifully preserved example of early 1970s Swiss design, this piece is both a stylish daily wearer and a significant addition to any vintage collection.
