A rare Audemars Piguet skeletonized watch in 18k yellow gold, crafted circa 1976-1979. The 33 mm polished case houses a gorgeous open work dial showcasing the caliber 2120/1 automatic movement with 36 jewels from either sides. The hand-engraving details of the bridges is exquisite, with an added feature of the initials AP prominent on the 21 carat gold rotor. The dial contains a thin ivory Chanel with black anodized hour indices and anodized sword-shaped hands. Fitted with an Audemars black crocodile strap and its original 18k pin buckle stamped “Audemars Piguet 750”. It is not often one will come across an openworked vintage piece, would delight a vintage lover to add to their collection.
